The FA Charter Standard Schools programme is designed to support schools in implementing key strategic objectives such as:
• Primary liaison
• Coaching and leadership
• School-to-community links
• Outside-school-hours opportunities
• Raising standards
• Inclusion
The Jersey Football Association is committed to offering Schools practical support for meeting these criteria. Bursaries from ESFA and courses run by the JFA are available to help practitioners gain additional qualifications. All Schools can receive ongoing support on accessing competitions and advice on who your main contacts are at your local FA Charter Standard Football Club.
In order to gain FA Charter Standard status, a School must fulfil certain criteria and present copies of the required documentation along with a completed application form which can be downloaded from the Related Documents box on the right hand side of this page.
