Tickets Now On Sale For 2022 Close Finance Muratti Weekend

2022 will see the return of the Muratti for the first time in two years – and the first Women’s Muratti since 2016

Jersey Football Association is delighted to announce the return of the prestigious Muratti finals to Springfield Stadium this summer – with tickets for both games on sale now.

Sponsored by Close Finance and named the 2022 Close Finance Muratti Vase and 2022 Close Finance Women’s Muratti respectively, both games are set to take place at Springfield Stadium over the course of one weekend.

Following a challenging two years for everybody as a result of the impact of COVID-19, Jersey FA is looking forward to welcoming football supporters back to a new-look Springfield Stadium, which has been upgraded significantly to enhance the matchday experience for all in attendance.

The 2022 Close Finance Muratti Vase will take place on Saturday 21 May (2pm KO) and will be contested between Jersey FA and the winner of the semi-final tie between Alderney FA and Guernsey FA, which is to be played on 23 April.

Tickets for the game will be priced at £15 for a seated ticket in the stands, or £10 for terracing.

The following day, on Sunday 22 May (1.30pm KO), Jersey FA will take on Guernsey FA in the 2022 Close Finance Women’s Muratti. This year’s competition is the first women’s Muratti to be contested since 2016 – and as we all gear up for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 competition this summer, it’s a welcome return at an exciting time for women’s football across the country.

Tickets for the 2022 Close Finance Women’s Muratti cost just £5 for over-18s in the stands, but FREE OF CHARGE for under-18s. Meanwhile, admission in all terraced areas is FREE OF CHARGE for all supporters.

Jersey FA CEO, David Kennedy, said: “Muratti’s are special occasions, and it is great to see them finally return after a very difficult period for inter-insular football. Due to the frustrations of Covid and the modifications to Springfield Stadium, I believe we will see the largest Muratti crowds for many seasons. As a result, I would encourage everyone to get their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”

Jersey FA looks forward to welcoming football supporters from across the Channel Islands for what promises to be an exciting weekend celebrating our beautiful game.
