Jersey FA Capita Centre of Excellence Player Profile: Kyle Devenish
The Jersey FA CAPITA Centre of Excellence provides an advanced player pathway for youngster on the Island with identified talent and potential. The Centre has grown from a single group of u14 boys to one which now offers over 100 players, in 7 squads from u12 to u18s, a structured weekly coaching and games programme. The sessions are supported by 15 up to date FA qualified and licensed coaches who have all undergone CRC checks and safeguarding children training.

What are your strengths as a player?
I am a good passer of the ball, but also like to shoot and have a good goal scoring record. I have pace in abundance and use my physical strength to good effect
Who is your favourite player and why?
It still has to be Steven Gerard who was Liverpool’s greatest ever player.
What is your best moment in the game?
Scoring two goals against Guernsey U18s in the FA County Youth Cup.
How has the Capita Centre of Excellence helped you develop?
Being part of the Capita Centre of Excellence has improved my play and tactical awareness on the pitch and developed me as an individual off of it.
What are your ambitions for the future?I would like to continue playing for Jersey and hopefully at all levels. If the opportunity arose, I would like to try and play abroad, possibly at a professional level.
