Jersey FA Link Asset Service PDC Players, Coaches and parents enjoyed a trip to the Womens U20 World Cup held in France.


A group of 24+ players, parents and coaches from the Link Asset Services Player Development Centre travelled to St. Malo this weekend for a Women’s u20 World Cup Group fixture between England's u20 and Mexico u20's.

England’s Lioness's ran out 6-1 winners at the Stade Marville in St. Malo. Goals from, Alessia Russo, Chloe Kelly, Georgia Stanway, and a hat-trick from Manchester City's Lauren Hemp helped the Lioness's to an emphatic win. The win puts England’s young Lioness's top of their u20's Women World Cup Group. A group that consists of Brazil, Mexico and Korea DPR.
Jersey FA Collas Crill Community Coach for Girls Lucy Even said; "It was an amazing experience for the everyone involved, especially the (PDC) players. The Lioness's are inspiring the next generation of young girls with their football and it was a privilege to see them in action. 

"I hope this trip has inspired our current players to continue to develop and I look forward to coaching them in the new season. I would like to thank the parents and coaches for volunteering their time, in what was a special day for all involved. "
