Southern Counties Cup: Jersey squad named for Royal Navy clash

16 players are named in the squad as Jersey's women prepare for their Southern Counties Cup match in Portsmouth.

A 16-strong squad has been named for Jersey Women's trip to the UK to face the Royal Navy next Wednesday (4th December).

Jersey joint-managers Chad Morris and Fiona MacKinnon-Fox have selected players from three local clubs and two UK sides for the Southern Counties Cup match, being played in Portsmouth.

Rozel Rovers teenagers Tayah Vasse and Daniella Da Silva are called up for a competitive fixture for the first time.

The match is the second of three group games for the island side, who lost their opener away against Sussex earlier this month. After Wednesday's match, their last group fixture will see them face Kent on 23rd January 2020.
