Focus on facility improvement as new JFA Committee is formed

£6,000 made available this season for a newly-formed committee focussed on supporting local clubs with pitch and facility improvements.

The Jersey Football Association has made £6,000 available this season for a newly-formed committee, focussed on supporting local clubs with pitch improvements.

The JFA Facilities Committee, which is chaired by JFA Honorary Life President Charlie Tostevin, will also create an overarching facilities plan for the future of Jersey football.

Work has already begun, with a recent visit from FA representatives during which most club grounds were visited. A short report is expected within weeks.

Over the next two seasons, the JFA plans to work with clubs on 18 Pitch Improvement Plans (PIPs). Clubs have today been emailed a detailed questionnaire about their existing facilities (including clubhouses, changing rooms, training grounds, floodlights etc) to help identify priorities.
