Jersey Women's manager Chad Morris remained upbeat and proud of his team's positivity, after a 6-0 loss to Kent FA in the Southern Counties Cup.

Hat tricks from Jade Keogh and captain Amy Russ helped the hosts to victory at Chatham Town.

"The girls can be proud of their positive attitude and the manner in which they represented their island again," Morris told JerseyFA.com

"We had some brilliant feedback from Kent FA officials praising the way we play and our style of football, and that was really pleasing to hear.

"It’s been good for the team to be able to challenge themselves against some strong opposition in this competition this season and now we can push ahead and look forward to the return of the women’s Muratti in May."
