Jersey FA Change4Football Committee Supported by the Football Futures Programme
The Jersey FA Change4Football Committee was created to provide the young people of Jersey a voice in football and improving the representation of the youth at Board level. The Change4Football Committee gives young people the opportunity to make a positive contribution to football within Jersey and provides an inclusive and supportive environment for members to develop their skills, knowledge, confidence and creative thinking.
There are approximately 1,500 young people playing in football in Jersey, the Change4Football Committee ensures they have a voice at the highest levels of the game. Young people are the future of our game; our future players and our future workforce. Therefore, it’s vital we engage and retain them in the game from an early age to secure the future of football.
Structure
Jersey FA Youth Council consists of a group of young people aged between 16-24, supported by Jersey FA Staff and Directors. The team hold fortnightly meetings. Discussions take place around all aspects of the local game, members are encouraged to bring up suggestions from their Club Committee meetings; suggestions are discussed and passed on to three football governing boards in Jersey. The Jersey Football Combination League, Jersey FA Executive Board and the Jersey Football Council.
Change4Football members meet every fort-night at Springfield Stadium. Anyone age 14+ are able to join the Change4Football Committee. For more information on the Jersey FA Youth Council and how to apply please email: Info@JerseyFA.com
The FA Football Futures is The FA leadership and volunteering programme aims to reward and develop young people involved in football. The programme offers a wide range of benefits and opportunities that aim to give leaders the opportunity to volunteer and develop across six themes, coaches, referees, Event planners, Developments officers, Respect officers and Media & promotion.
The programme is for anyone aged 14+ years old who is interested in becoming involved in leadership and volunteering in football. Whether you want to volunteer in your school, college, university, County FA, football club or league, this programme will provide you with excellent opportunities to enhance your leadership skills, make new friends, gain FA qualifications and volunteer in your chosen setting.

Safeguarding & Welfare with the Jersey FA
Jersey FA takes Safeguarding extremely seriously. We are working to make the game as safe and enjoyable as possible. This work is delivered through Jersey FA's in conjunction with Jersey Football Combination League and Clubs.
