Unfortunately not. Each individual learner is required to book their place using their own FAN and Password. This is to ensure our information on medical conditions, emergency contacts etc is accurate and up to date. The booking agreement is always between Jersey FA and the individual learner.

If you are completely new to coaching you will need to complete The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football first.

If you already hold an existing FA Level 1 you can go to the new FA Level 2 in Coaching Football qualification taking into consideration the action plan you received from your course tutor.

The first step is to speak with a local club and get involved with a team. This will give you an opportunity to experience coaching, if you enjoy it and want to continue coaching, your next step will be to book onto the FA Level 1 Coaching in Football course.

(If you do not know what local team you wish to coach, contact the Jersey FA. We are happy to advise and support your coaching journey. Alternatively check out Coaching opportunities for a list of availability in local clubs.)

The FA Emergency Aid and FA Safeguarding Children certificates can be accessed online 48 hours after you complete the course. The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football certificate will be sent to you within 6-8 weeks of completion.

There is a 2 hour Safeguarding workshop followed by a one hour online module. Both must be completed to achieve the qualification. There are also online modules to complete as part of the new FA Level 1 Coaching in Football course.

Yes, if you are already coaching at a club the One Foundation Charter Standard grant can support your application for a coaching course.

The FA Youth Award Modules previously received a high level of positive feedback from learners, yet take-up rates were usually lower than the core coaching qualifications.

Therefore, in order to raise the standards of coaching, the principles of The FA Youth Award Modules have been incorporated into the core coaching qualifications to ensure all coaches have access to these principles and understand how to apply them to the environment in which they coach.
