Jersey FA in Schools

Stay on the ball in school

Football plays an important role within many of the island's schools and colleges. The Jersey Football Association offers in-curricular coaching programmes, inspiring new generations to love the game.

These programmes are delivered in schools by our Collas Crill community coaches, who are FA qualified and have also attained their First Aid and Safeguarding Children qualifications.

All Jersey FA sessions are based on a unique FA coaching model that helps boys and girls of all abilities to grow, develop their skills and reach their full potential.

The FA 4 corner model focuses on key attributes that are vital for any developing young footballer: Physical, Technical, Psychological and Social elements. We not only help children develop their football skills, but also aid physical literacy, boost confidence, build self-esteem, teach them to work as a team and improve their decision-making skills. As well as concentrating on the learning and development of the young footballers, we are also aware that any sessions need to be fun and enjoyable for all ability levels.

For more information and to see if your school and its children could benefit, please contact our Lead Community Coach Daniel Seviour.
