Senior Men's Representative Manager appointed

Elliot Powell has been appointed Jersey Senior Men's Representative Manager.

Jersey FA is delighted to appoint Elliot Powell as its new Senior Men's Representative Manager. Powell takes on the role having already had a successful spell as Interim Manager for the Island Games in 2023.

David Kennedy, Jersey FA CEO said: ‘We were delighted to see the level of interest for the position of Representative Manager and ensured that the recruitment process to make the right appointment for the JFA was thorough. Elliot joins us with a tremendous track record of achieving success in the last few years with St Peters FC, and obviously guiding the representative side to the gold medal in Guernsey last year showed the qualities he has to manage at that level.’

Powell is joined in the dugout by his St Peters management team of Dan Garton and Peter Vincenti, whilst Andrew Dewhurst also makes a return to complete the backroom team.

On accepting the position, Powell said: ‘I am delighted and honoured to take on the position. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of leading the team through the Island Games and I could not pass up the opportunity to work with the group of players again for a home Muratti and hopefully a successful defence of our gold medals in 2025.’

Powell will step down from his role as St Peter’s Manager at the conclusion of the domestic season. His first game in charge will be the Muratti Vase Final which takes place at Springfield Stadium on Saturday 18 May.
