In accordance with FIFA Regulations, international clearance is required for any player over the age of 10 who is seeking to register for a club in England/Jersey/Guernsey/Isle of Man (‘country’) and has previously been registered for a club abroad (including the other Home Associations), or who is a foreign national seeking to register for the first time in this country.
If the player is under the age of 18, they are subject to the provisions of FIFA Article 19. International clearance is applicable at all levels of the game and if you feel that you may meet these criteria, please refer to this link, for further instructions prior to completing a player registration application.
PLAYER approach and TRANSFERS
A guide has been provided to assist clubs with being compliant with the FA's regulations regarding Player Approach. Prior to any formal approach to register a player or complete a transfer, please refer to the guide in the link below.
Once the player approach requirements have been met, for transfers between Clubs competing in the JFA Combination League, the transfer form can be found below and ideally should be completed by the Club Secretary or if agreed with the club in question, the competition may accept authorisation by an alternative Club Official. The completed transfer form can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or presented to the JFA office by agreed appointment.
