Tickets have gone on sale for the end-of-season island football awards evening, with BBC presenter Dan Walker as special guest speaker for this year's event on Friday 7th June 2019.

Walker is a journalist and best known for presenting BBC television programmes, including Football Focus and BBC Breakfast. He presents the corporation’s Open Golf coverage and other showpiece sporting events such as Wimbledon and recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with a group of celebrities in aid of Comic Relief.

The evening is a celebration of local football, recognising the performances from the island’s finest players and a tribute to the inspirational volunteers who have made an outstanding contribution within the game. The venue chosen for this season's event is the recently opened Jaguar Range Rover Showroom at Jacksons, St Peter. 

Up for auction is a framed signed shirt, by Lionel Messi, often considered the best player in the world and regarded by many as the greatest player of all time, and an opportunity to win a special Porsche track day in a draw on the evening. Enjoy a three course meal prepared by Tony and Helen Sargeant, Jersey Kitchen.
