2020 education programme confirmed, with hundreds of FREE places for club coaches and volunteers

The Jersey FA has published its coach education programme for 2020, while confirming many places will be offered FREE of charge.

The Jersey Football Association has announced an enhanced programme of coach and volunteer education for 2020, while confirming the majority of the courses will be FREE of charge for members of local FA Charter Standard clubs.

The new directory features 16 courses throughout the calendar year, including Level One and Level Two coaching courses as well as quarterly safeguarding children workshops.

Four first aid workshops will be run during 2020, while a referee training course is scheduled for early February (7th-9th).

"The programme has been designed to support all our affiliated clubs and assist them in maintaining FA Charter Standard club status," said Jersey FA Football Development Manager Brian Oliver. 

"Free places are available to all coaches working within Jersey FA affiliated clubs. We're also providing free courses to all volunteers within those clubs who are required to attend either the Safeguarding Children, Welfare Officer or Level 1 Introduction to First Aid workshops."
