Local sides set for Jersey FA Cup first round ties
Sixteen sides are in action this weekend in the first round of the new-look Jersey FA Cup.
The historic Le Riche Cup was re-branded for the 2019-20 season as the Jersey FA Cup, with all men's 1st teams entered into the competition, irrespective of their division, with some clubs also opting to enter additional sides.
In the only preliminary round match, Jacksons Premiership side Trinity overcame Jacksons Championship club First Tower United 8-0 to secure a spot in the first round proper. They travel to Grouville on Saturday.
The first round kicks off on Friday night (25th October) though, when St Paul's take on Jersey Wanderers Reserves at Springfield.
