Brian Oliver, Football Development Manager at Jersey FA, said: “We’re very excited to be able to offer this course to aspiring referees in Jersey. Last season, we almost doubled the number of qualified referees in the island, but we’re determined to build on that number and ensure we have 100% coverage in all our fixtures for the 2021-22 season.
“One thing that we’re particularly delighted to see was the number of young referees that have been introduced to the game over the past year. Our hope is that this course will attract even more.”
