Women's Football

The women's game in Jersey

Women of all abilities, from players just starting out in the game to those who have proudly represented the island, are welcomed with open arms by the four Jersey clubs with female adult (16+) sides.

Grouville, JTC Jersey Wanderers, Rozel Rovers and St Lawrence all have teams competing in the Condor Ferries Women's Channel Islands League, which also includes two sides from Guernsey - Northerners, and Guernsey Ladies.

Matches are usually on a Sunday morning, with the clubs also holding one or two training sessions each week. Whether it's just for fun, or if you take your football seriously, the local teams are all keen to hear from new players.

Before you can play for a local side in a match you will need to complete the Player Registration process.

The Jersey FA also has a Women's Representative Team which enters competitions such as the Island Games and competes in the annual Women's Muratti fixture against Guernsey.
