On occasion, participants in football such as players, managers, coaches, club officials and spectators are reported to the Jersey Football Association for alleged misconduct.

These are situations that go above and beyond a yellow or red card offence.

If deemed appropriate, these cases will go before a Discipline Commission for review. The panel of volunteers decides if a case if proven and if so which sanction should be given.

All cases are heard by the Commission Chairman, who is assisted by two other trained volunteers on each sitting of the Commission.
